Brad King 4494c29078 ENH: Enabling color makefile support using cmsysTerminal_cfprintf. Support for color is automatically detected when messages are printed. Brad King 84f672155c BUG: Using the source-file permissions by default for installation is somewhat unpredictable because users can extract source code with almost any permissions (umask). Brad King d5719f22c1 ENH: Added support for multiple outputs generated by a single custom command. For Visual Studio generators the native tool provides support. For Xcode and Makefile generators a simple trick is used. The first output is considered primary and has the build rule attached. Other outputs simply depend on the first output with no build rule. During cmake_check_build_system CMake detects when a secondary output is missing and removes the primary output to make sure all outputs are regenerated. This approach always builds the custom command at the right time and only once even during parallel builds. 2006-04-11 11:06:19 -04:00

Brad King 57a9e26c15 BUG: Fixed cmOrderLinkDirectories to make sure cmake-built libraries are found properly. Also taking libraries that will be built but may not yet exist into account. The per-configuration subdirectories that are included by generators in the link path are checked for conflicting libraries also. Potentially conflicting libraries that are actually symlinks back to the desired library are no longer considered conflicting, which avoids bogus impossible ordering warnings. 2006-04-04 14:25:17 -04:00

Brad King cddedaa7d8 ENH: INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES should have been written to prepend to the include path so that the most local directories are included first. Brad King ca5647c92c ENH: Added ARCHIVE option to the TARGETS mode of the INSTALL command. It is a third option added to RUNTIME and LIBRARY property types. Static libraries and import libraries are now treated as ARCHIVE targets instead of LIBRARY targets. This adds a level of granularity necessary for upcoming features. Also updated the CVS CMake patch level set in CMake_VERSION_PATCH from 4 to 5 to allow users of this version to know whether this incompatible change is present. 2006-03-24 16:11:24 -05:00
