Similar to CMake's handling of -D command line arguments, for
consistency and to avoid silent ignoring of "unknown command
line" args.

If the argument following -D is not a valid dashboard type string,
then try to parse it as a "var:type=value" string just like cmake
already does.

Alex Neundorf 20e133e38a man documentation: detect man section from the given filename 
E.g. if you say cmake --help-custom-modules mymodules.7
cmake will now put section 7 into the generated manpage.

Alex Neundorf 38df155dd3 documentation: preparation for making the man section configurable 
This patch adds a man section number, which is then used by the
DocumentationFormatterMan. The section number is right now always 1,
detecting this from the file name will be the next step.

Brad King ec1d352485 KWIML: Teach INT about broken UINT32_C on old HP 
Old HP inttypes.h defines UINT32_C as:

 #define __CONCAT__(_A,_B) _A ## _B
 #define __CONCAT_U__(_A) _A ## u
 #define UINT32_C(__c) __CONCAT__(__CONCAT_U__(__c),l)

The __CONCAT__ macro does not delay concatenation for an extra level so
standard preprocessor implementations like GNU complain that they cannot
concatenate the ")" and "l".

Brad King 6dc053114b KWIML: Teach ABI.h about 'long long' and 'char' on old HP 
The "HP92453-01 A.11.01.20 HP C Compiler" does not define any
identifying macros except for platform __hpux.  If we see that platform
with no other compiler identification then assume this compiler.  It has
'long long' and its 'char' is signed unless the +uc option is added.

-convert the filename to lowercase before the extraction, this allows this to
 work even if the filename as uppercase ".XML" extension
-use get_filename_component(... NAME) to strip the path

Brad King 56148fd2bc Do not crash on SHARED library without language (#13324) 
Since commit e1409ac5 (Support building shared libraries or modules
without soname, 2012-04-22) CMake crashes on the code

 add_library(foo SHARED foo.nolang)

because the logic to lookup the language's soname flag was moved from
cmTarget::GetLibraryNames to cmMakefile::GetSONameFlag without its check
for a NULL language.  Restore the check for NULL.

Add RunCMake.Languages test to cover language error cases like this one.

Brad King 5c153c62f3 Make CTest.UpdateGIT robust to Git safecrlf on Windows 
If the user has configured 'core.autocrlf' and 'core.safecrlf' then
'git submodule add' will fail to 'git add' the '.gitmodules' file because
it has LF newlines, at least as of Git 1.7.11.  Disable 'core.safecrlf'
in our test repository to avoid the problem.

Mariusz Plucinski 2c2fbaf0e5 Do not crash on unknown source language (#13323) 
If a source file extension is not recognized as any language then
src.GetLanguage() may return NULL.  Check the result before
dereferencing in cmLocalGenerator::GetObjectFileNameWithoutTarget.

Brad King 539064d4f7 KWIML: Generalize interface to report broken integer literal macros 
The <inttypes.h> header on some platforms define the integer literal
macros incorrectly for some of the integer types.  Generalize the
documented interface reporting broken U/INT64_C to all integer sizes.
